After 3 years of quite low-key operation, we are proud to share we have achieved one of our initial goals, reaching 100 5-star Google reviews. During these 3 years we have intentionally put minimal effort into marketing and sales rather we set our sights on developing and delivering a 5-star customer experience. Taking a look back through our customer feedback it is clear we have well and truly succeeded in this pursuit.
Another happy family!
“The Snorkelling tour in Jervis Bay with Scott’s Australia’s Coastal Wilderness Adventures was fabulous! In just a few hours we saw a lot of the diverse sea life of beautiful Jervis Bay: octopus, sea urchins, moray eel, woebegone sharks, numerous different rays from tiny to huge, and lots of different fish. Swimming over the lovely seagrass and kelp and spotting fish amongst it was very special. The lovely morning tea with Emma’s homemade banana cake topped off an excellent experience 😁
For the finer details, the communication was excellent from the time of booking right up to on the day, when last minute changes were needed because of weather conditions. Scott was clear in his instructions and explanations and very patient when I was having problems getting my mask fitting right. He even had a spare one to change out on the water. I felt in safe and knowledgeable hands.”
Along with this milestone comes a very important step forward for ACWA (Australia’s Coastal Wilderness Adventures). What has been for so long (close to a decade) a part-time side-hustle has now become a full-time undertaking. Thanks to the feedback and support of our customers we have been able to generate enough interest in our offerings to warrant our undivided attention. As of January 2026, we have been solely focused on ACWA and will continue to do so indefinitely. You should expect to see a lot more of us through our social media channels and via this blog. Already we have many updates to share along with new exciting marine based experiences.
What it is all about.
“Scott and the team are true professionals—highly experienced, deeply knowledgeable, and completely attuned to the local environment. Their guided snorkel tour is thoughtfully designed, bringing you into an underwater world you would never discover on your own, all with exceptional attention to safety and comfort.
The locations they choose are genuine hidden treasures. As a long‑time snorkel lover who has explored many spots across Australia, I can honestly say this was one of the best snorkeling experiences I’ve ever had. Matt, our guide, was incredible. Even though I’ve been snorkeling at Murrays for years, there were so many species I had never noticed before. Matt pointed them out, named them, and explained their behaviours with such enthusiasm that it completely transformed the experience.
He also shared practical knowledge—how to handle swells, read tide changes, and navigate narrow channels between the ocean and shore. These are things that had held me back from exploring more remote spots, and I left feeling empowered and more confident in the water.
And then… the picnic! It was a wholesome, delightful experience all on its own. Emma’s cake was so delicious I had several slices without even realising it. Baby Bon was the icing on the cake (not literally!). His big blue eyes quietly watching the group while Emma made sure everyone felt welcomed and included during the post‑snorkel debrief added such a warm, family‑like feeling to the day.
I highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to witness the magnificent underwater world—whether you’re a seasoned snorkeler or a complete beginner. Get ready to be absolutely blown away.”
We would like to take the opportunity to thank all of those that have chosen to enter the water with ACWA. We are very proud to offer a high-quality experience at a fraction of the price of other operators. In a time when the cost of living continually exceeds income growth we believe it is important that individuals, particularly families to have access high quality nature experiences.
