Scott Proctor

Scott has deep seated family ties to Eden, being a direct descendent of the Davidson Whaling Family (Great, Great, Great Grandson of George Davidson). Certainly not an active whaler himself, (more of a whale enthusiast) Scott has not missed his family’s affinity with the sea. From an early age, Scott has spent most of his spare time snorkelling, diving, fishing, surfing and exploring the local coastline. A passion which led him to complete a Bachelor of Marine Science in 2013. Using his education and eagerness to share knowledge and experiences with others, Scott founded Australia’s Coastal Wilderness Adventures in 2014. Since then, he has led many high-quality expeditions for groups of delighted guests.

Outside of ACWA, Scott pursues another passion, providing sustainable seafood to the world. Working as a Marine Farmer growing Blue Mussels, Scott is contributing towards creating sustainable food production systems for the future.

Emma Rickert

Emma has recently moved to the South Coast after spending her entire upbringing in Sydney. Since her sea change, Emma has become well versed in many coastal pursuits, often enjoying a snorkel, surf and daily ocean swims. Emma is a customer service professional with a background in business administration and sales. In her current role, Emma uses these skills to coordinate the purchase and distribution of premium Australian seafood between producers and retailers.

Outside of work, Emma is an avid gardener with an educational background in horticulture. Using her knowledge of plants, Emma is working towards being ACWA’s sole supplier of fruit, vegetables and fresh herbs. Emma’s goal is to create a circular food production system that eliminates all waste from ACWA’s operation. Emma’s ability to provide excellent customer service and logistical support will be integral to ACWA’s success. We are looking forward to seeing ACWA’s ‘coastal concierge’ in action in 2023.
